MARTYS 2019 – Finalist for the Emerging Fashion & Beauty Award

Stella Jurgen was a finalist for the MARTYS 2019 Award for the Emerging Fashion & Beauty category.  The gala took place on May 23 at the Mississauga Conference Centre. The MARTYS, is a red carpet event recognizing excellence in the arts in Mississauga hosted by the Mississauga Arts Council.  The mandate is to build a great city through cultivating the arts.

I am a Canadian artist from Italian and Portuguese roots that was born in Argentina and raised in Portugal. My diverse heritage is reflected in my art and my music. You can find my art regularly featured at the Art Emporium in Port Stanley, ON and Station Arts in Tillsonburg, ON. My paintings have also appeared in galleries around the Greater Toronto Area and most recently a 3D installation was featured at the Art Comp 2024 in London, ON.
