“Alegria” reflects one of the popular summer events that take place in Portugal called Festa Popular de Santo Antonio. Sardines and red wine are served with salad, rice pudin for dessert and “mangericos” adorn the tables each one with a love message. This painting is part of the “Reflections” collection that was created for a fundraiser for Abrigo Centre and it was exhibited at the General Consulate of Portugal.
